Through our business areas, we contribute to the electrification of society and increased use of renewable energy.<\/p>\n<p>Internally, we will work to reduce our own climate footprint by making good choices of suppliers, materials and subcontractors.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, sustainability is about being a responsible employer that promotes important social values such as equality, diversity, an injury-free working environment, well-being and employeeship.<\/p>\n<p>Being a responsible employer means that we must always comply with applicable laws and agreements both internally and with our subcontractors. Good business practice is a prerequisite for our operations, and our code of conduct describes how this is safeguarded.<\/p>\n<p>We will be open and transparent in our operations and ensure good information about the business to all stakeholders.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tWe anchor our sustainability work in the following standards:\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<ul>\n<li>The UN Global Compact, which is the UN's 10 principles for responsible business.<\/li>\n<li>The UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the world's common work plan to eradicate poverty, fight inequality and stop climate change by 2030.<\/li>\n<li>SBTi: Science Based Targets initiative that helps companies set targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Paris Agreement, which aims to keep global temperatures below 1.5 degrees centigrade.
